Toyota already has an extensive and exciting hybrid lineup, but get ready to enjoy another outstanding, efficient vehicle! The Toyota Crown is making a triumphant return to the U.S. market, but this time it arrives with a new HYBRID MAX powertrain.
This elevated sedan — available in XLE, Limited, and Platinum grades — has a tall ride height and beautifully bold styling. The new Crown can be painted in the first-ever bi-tone option that gives the hood and trunk black accents that pair with one of four alluring colours.
Of course, as a hybrid sedan, the 2023 Toyota Crown offers exceptional efficiency. Depending on the grade you select, you’ll get the standard Toyota Hybrid System (THS) or the first-ever HYBRID MAX powertrain. The new HYBRID MAX system delivers a manufacturer-estimated 8.4 L/100 km combined and estimated 340 horsepower for a thrilling drive. Meanwhile, the standard THS offers an incredible 6.2 L/100 km combined.
Inside, the cabin is outfitted with advanced tech and premium amenities. For starters, the all-new Toyota Multimedia System with a standard 12.3-inch touch screen seamlessly connects to your smartphone and is convenient thanks to Over-the-Air updates. The interior also comes with standard, three-level heated front seats and dual-zone climate control for ultimate comfort. These are just some of the amazing highlights of the all-new 2023 Toyota Crown. The 2023 Highlander will be available with a hybrid powertrain as well as a gas-powered option. All gas models have received a new, turbocharged V6 engine that offers 17% more torque than the outgoing engine. This new engine is also eco-friendlier, emitting 50% fewer emissions. The Highlander Hybrid offers an incredible 6.7 L/100 km combined and features regenerative braking to help capture more energy for fewer stops at the pump.
The new Toyota Multimedia system is standard on all grades of the 2023 Highlander. The base model has an 8-inch display with the option of upgrading to an expansive 12.3-inch touch screen. This new system includes enhanced connectivity and convenience via features like Over-the-Air (OTA) updates and an Intelligent Assistant. By saying “Hey Toyota,” you can use natural voice commands for things like directions, hands-free text messaging, and more.
You’ll find a variety of convenient features on the new Toyota Highlander, too. A hands-free power liftgate is available on all grades, making it easy to load and unload cargo into the SUV. That amenity and rain-sensing wipers are standard on the Bronze Edition model, which also comes with captain’s chairs and premium seating materials with bronze-coloured stitching.
