The new 2019 Toyota Tacoma, which is available at High River Toyota, features a range of exciting updates and includes the performance-enhanced Tacoma TRD Pro editions.
Most Tacomas take their power from a 3.5-liter V6 that pumps
out 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque, but for higher efficiency, you can
go with the standard 2.7-litre four-cylinder engine, which is still good for
159 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque.
The interior of the new Toyota Tacoma is upscale and
comfortable. Interior tech is a highlight, with a standard display audio system
with a 6.1-inch touch screen, a backup camera, an available GoPro mount, and
But it’s not just entertainment tech that the 2019 Tacoma
offers. Safety tech is also more advanced for the Tacoma than ever before.
Every Tacoma model comes with Toyota Safety Sense P, which includes Lane
Departure Alert, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Automatic High Beams, and the
Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection.
“With the 2019 Tacoma, Toyota is ready to help Canadian
truck fans write the next chapter in the adventure that is their lives,”
remarked Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “The Tacoma
combines remarkable performance with impressive comfort, amenities and
technologies, plus industry-leading safety systems to make sure it’s ready for
anything — including hauling gear, towing a trailer or taming trails.”
You can now test drive the 2019 Toyota Prius c at High River Toyota, which is the perfect city car for those who crave high efficiency in their daily commutes.
The 2019 Prius c is powered by a 1.5-litre Atkinson Cycle four-cylinder engine with Exhaust Heat Recovery System, paired with an electric motor and battery. This powertrain produces 99 horsepower and, more importantly, yields up to 4.9 L/100 km in the city and 5.5 L/100 km on the highway.*
Though small on the outside, the Toyota Prius c is surprisingly roomy on the inside, offering up to 484 L (17.1 cubic feet) of cargo space thanks to the 60/40 split folding second-row seat. Other interior features include the tilting and telescoping steering wheel, power door locks with keyless entry, and a wide range of entertainment technology. That technology starts with a 6.1-inch touch screen for the Display Audio System and continues with Bluetooth® connectivity, a USB audio input, and a 4.2-inch multi-information display.
Safety is paramount in the 2019 Toyota Prius c. The standard Toyota Safety Sense C suite of systems includes Automatic High Beams, Lane Departure Alert, and the Pre-Collision System. Other safety features include nine airbags and a backup camera.
“Canadian drivers love the nimble performance and impressive versatility of small hatchbacks — and they love the incredible fuel efficiency of Toyota hybrids,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “With the Toyota Prius c, they get it all — in a stylish and fun-to-drive subcompact that’s loaded with advanced yet easy-to-use technologies that put this vehicle in a class by itself.”
